What's New for 2024

1. Change of classification system for Maths Week resources

In previous years, the resources have been classified by levels. As from this year, they will be classified by Sets – this will mean that teachers can use different resources in the same class without any direct reference to year levels.

Set B is targetted at Years 3 and 4
►

Set C is targetted at Years 5 and 6

Set D is targetted at Years 7 and 8
►

Set E is targetted at Years 9 – 11

2. Teacher access to student versions of worksheets

Teachers are also being given access to the student versions of the worksheets in addition to the teacher versions from Monday 29 July. This will enable the student versions to be printed before Maths Week starts.

Teachers are encouraged have students access the worksheets on their devices directly from the Maths Week website during Maths Week as this will avoid the need to print them.

3. Usernames and passwords

A username and a password are chosen by people when they register. If either is forgotten, there is a re-set facility.

4. Daily Dollar te reo

Te Reo Māori versions of the Daily Dollar worksheets have been produced.

5. Daily Dollar records

A Word document and an Excel spreadsheet for teachers to keep a record of the Daily Dollar progress were introduced in 2023, but teachers may not have become aware of them. The records have facility to keep records for a whole class or for groups within a class. The records can be accessed from the website in the same place as the Daily Dollar files.
